A little bit about me 👨🏻💻
Hi there, my name is Christopher Haines, but you can call me Chris. I’m a budding designer living in Brighton.
I’ve had quite a career pivoting journey from starting out in the Finance industry to moving into the world of Web Development to finally discovering my passion for user centered design.
At first, I leant how to become a Front End Developer because I loved discovering new apps and digital experiences.
During this time, I would constantly question design decisions and how they affected the user experience. I started learning about Human Centered Design in my spare time because I wanted to solve real problems that affected people, and I realised that my true passion lay in User Interface Design.
I love the philosophy of being able to improve and solve issues for people in the digital space. I take creative approaches to solve problems with design by making sure to always keep the user in mind.
As a designer I am constantly learning and evolving to create better solutions and experiences for users.
After graduating from the UX/UI design course at Flatiron in March 2020 (great timing!) I was fortunate enough to join the design team at Engaging Tech, where I have been working as a UX/UI Designer since November 2020.
